A new year sometimes brings thoughts of renewal and tweaking our lives in hopes of a better future.

At Thirst Colorado, we’ve spent more than six years pushing active minds and bodies toward new adventures on the many paths across our state.

We are constantly reminded that your Colorado experience is different from mine, which is different from our neighbors or coworkers. Translated, the adventure sought out by the backcountry skier is much different than the adventure sought out by the foodie who sees life through a culinary lens.

Ours is not to judge, but to enlighten.

Our Thirst mission statement reads:

“Thirst Colorado serves up the Colorado experience by highlighting the connection between our unique lifestyles and the passion of our state’s craft artisans.”

We continue to provide a snapshot (and some deeper dives) into the lives and products of the state’s talented professionals. From beer and food, to entertainment and goods, we help you find greater pleasures as you explore.

Our goal in 2022 is to offer a few new ways to up your game. Most of us like to hear a story straight from the horse’s mouth. To that end, we’re cranking up a Question and Answer feature that will allow our craftspeople to explain their passions and the journeys they’ve experienced. We all know a few folks who have pushed themselves to higher ground by doubling down on their drive to improve lives. If you know someone whose story should be told, please let us know.

Speaking of your feedback, what top 10 list would you like to read about. Our writers will produce some top 10s this year that will help get you off the beaten path - and maybe blow your mind. The lists will provide opportunities for people across the state to learn more about their neighbors, new destinations and palate-pleasing food and libations.

So, here’s to a fantastic 2022 – a year in which we should move forward with confidence and caution.
