Our guide to Dry January in Colorado

Plenty of businesses across the state are producing non-alcoholic beverages for grownups

By the Thirst Team

Non-alcoholic beer, wine and spirits are among the fastest growing sectors of the libations industry, especially this month.

Civic Science, a respected polling organization, says 56 percent of U.S. drinkers aged 21+ plan to participate in Dry January, a four-point increase from 2024. Polls found that millennials aged 30 to 44, women and parents are the most likely segments to abstain from alcohol this month.

But going alcohol free doesn’t mean a month of water and juice boxes. The non-alcoholic craft drink scene in Colorado is booming, with non-alcoholic bars popping up, including The Love Shack in Loveland and Gratitude in Colorado Springs.

Here are some options for flavorful grownup drinks without the booze, all crafted here in the Centennial State.

Let us know what we missed, and tell us what you think of these drinks. For more information about non-alcoholic beer options, visit the Reducaholic website, run by our friend and Colorado resident Tyler McMahon.
