10 Mile Pride in Breckenridge

Breckenridge celebrates its local LGBTQ+ community with the 10 Mile Pride series of events Thursday through Saturday. First up on Thursday is a fireside chat with Olympic bronze medalist and 5-time X Games medalist Arielle Gold, alpinist Hannah Hoetmer of The North Face Athlete Development Program and Michael Miscisin from One Colorado.

On Friday, Megan Geckler opens her “Tunnel Vision” exhibition at the Old Masonic Hall. And Saturday brings a community gathering to the Riverwalk Lawn, with free body painting and yoga, a live DJ and several drag performers.

50th rodeo season in Snowmass

Snowmass Rodeo’s landmark 50th season begins on Wednesday, June 19, and continues every Wednesday through Aug. 21. The arena capacity is 2,000 people, and the events typically sell out.

Palisade Bluegrass and Roots Festival

Palisade hosts some major bluegrass and roots musicians on two stages Friday through Sunday. Rapidgrass headlines on Friday, Yonder Mountain String Band headlines Saturday, and Mipso closes out the festival on Sunday.

The event also includes family activities and a range of camping options along the Colorado River. Admission is free for kids 12 and under.

Summer Brew Fest at Mile High Station

It’s a great weekend for beer aficionados across Colorado, with three fun festivals on tap. The Summer Brew Fest returns to Mile High Station on Saturday, with live music, unlimited beer samples and prize giveaways.

Belgian Brew Fest at Bruz

Further north, Bruz Beers hosts an intimate festival focused on Belgian-style beers from across Colorado and around the world. Participating Colorado breweries include TRVE, River North, Purpose and Barquentine. The event also includes live music and food trucks.

Vail Craft Beer Classic

This week’s beer festival with the best views is the Vail Craft Beer Classic. The event in Vail Village includes food trucks, live music and voting for a people’s choice award. Participating Colorado breweries and distilleries include 10th Mountain Whiskey, Aspen Brewing, Burly Brewing, Great Divide, Launch Pad and many more.

Save the date for Pours on the Plains

Finally, put July 26 on your calendar for yet another beer festival. The Pours on the Plains festival and brewery competition is part of the Arapahoe County Fair, so attendees can also enjoy carnival rides, food, fair exhibits, live music and more.

As always, please send us your events and announcements. We’re happy to share them. And enjoy your Colorado craft libations responsibly.
