Here are the best events of the week on Colorado’s craft libations scene

Brewing women at Denver Beer Company collaborated with women-led brewing teams from Pumphouse Brewery, Platt Park Brewing, and Cerveceria Colorado to craft the “Need Help With That?” Belgian-style wit, which features the 2024 Pink Boots Society hop blend.

Crowlers are available at all DBC locations, and 20 percent of proceeds will go to a scholarship fund for female and non-binary students in the MSU hospitality program.

The partner breweries also will tap the beer on Friday for International Women’s Day.

Female DBC brewers also will host a beer tasting series starting on March 25.

RiNo Beer Fest

The Beer Fest Co. kicks off its 2024 season with the RiNo Beer Fest on Saturday. The theme is the Epic Ale Quest, “where the realms of fantasy and the world of craft beer collide.” Expect fairies, dragons and other entertainment. Loveland anniversary

Happy 11th anniversary to Verboten Brewing in Loveland. The brewery will celebrate Friday by releasing a barleywine, a wheat wine and an old fashioned cocktail ale; and on Saturday with the 11th Anniversary Brewer's Select Barrel-Aged Blended Ale.

Colorado Springs anniversary

Mash Mechanix Brewing Co. in Colorado Springs celebrates its third anniversary on Friday and Saturday, with live music, beer releases, giveaways and food trucks.

Charity beer auction underway

Bidding is open for a beer lovers’ auction to benefit Pints for Prostates. The auction includes rare beers from around the world, as well as brewery experiences, swag and collectibles.

Save the date

Tickets are now on sale for the 10th anniversary Breckenridge Wine Classic set for Aug. 22-24. The event pairs high-altitude hikes with curated wine lunches, food-and-beverage-focused adventures with famous Colorado personalities and sommeliers, and a grand tasting experience at 9,600 feet.

Tickets also go on sale tomorrow for the eighth Vail Craft Beer Classic on June 14 and 15.
