Pet photo pop-up

Standout photographer Dustin Doskocil will host a pet photo pop-up from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Holidaily’s Golden taproom. A 5-10 minute portrait session costs $50, and no signup is required. Here are some ice fishing and disc golf photos Dustin has taken for us.

Anniversary chili cook-off

Station 26 Brewing in Denver will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a chili cook-off party that also includes guest beers, live music, yard games and an anniversary Triple IPA release. The event runs from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday.

The brewery also hosts a bluegrass brunch from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, with music from Timberline Troubadours and eats from R&B Tacos and Grill.

Something anniversary

Something Brewery in Brighton celebrates its eighth anniversary from noon to close Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with live music, food trucks and anniversary merch. They also will tap 20 anniversary beers including a birthday cake blonde, cotton candy hazy IPA, several Russian imperial stouts, and collaborations with Black Sky Brewery and Windfall Brewing.

Clue & Brew

Rabbit Hole hosts Clue & Brew events at 1 and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Over Yonder Brewing in Golden. Puzzlers will find themselves in possession of a mysterious beer menu, one that seems to be hiding secrets beyond what is written on its pages. They have to try to uncover the truth and order a secret beer. Team admission costs $80, including four drink vouchers, an hour of puzzling with all materials provided.

Old 121 chili cookoff

Lakewood’s Old 121 Brewhouse hosts its fifth annual chili cookoff from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Cook-off entry costs $15 and includes one package of Wagyu beef from Colorado Craft Butchers. Prizes, including meat and beer bundles, will be awarded for best red chili, best green chili, and people’s choice.

Bug ugly sweater holiday party

These cool fall evenings are perfect for ugly holiday sweaters. Bust them out at 6 p.m. Thursday for a sweater party at LaNoue DeBois Winery in Montrose.

Christmas at the winery

Blue Mountain Vineyards in Berthoud hosts a Christmas party with live music from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The winery also has clothing, wine, cheese boards, glasses and more for holiday gifting.

Ornament painting

Denver Art Days will host two ornament-painting events at Denver-area breweries next week. Wood slice ornaments can be decorated at Woods Boss Brewing in Denver on Tuesday, or at Spice Trade Brewing in Greenwood Village next Wednesday. Stencils, paints, glitter, brushes, ribbons and twine all will be provided. Each ornament costs $10, and both events run from 6 to 8 p.m.

Holiday markets

  • The Block Distilling Co.marks its sixth anniversary with a bourbon release and a makers market at the RiNo tasting room from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. The new bourbon is Batch No. 4 of their Night Sweats Two-Year Straight Bourbon. The market includes TinType photography, an oyster pop-up, Peruvian food from Carolina Zubiate, jewelry, art, flash tattoos and more.

  • Mash Mechanix Brewing Co. and 1350 Distilling will co-host the 3rd annual EaDo Christkindl Market from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in downtown Colorado Springs. Local artists, vendors and food trucks will be on hand. They will also collect toy and cash donations for Mountain Post Santa's Workshop. Also, the Downtown Festival of Lights Parade is only blocks away on the same day.

  • Outer Range Brewing in Frisco hosts a pop-up holiday art market with artist Erika Donaghy from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday. She will showcase and sell prints, pottery and other art.

  • The basement at Durango Winery is a bar as well as an event space and giant art installation. The whole room will host local artists and vendors for a Christmas Art Sale from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, with local wine and cider.

  • Rails End Beer Company in Broomfield hosts a holiday market from noon to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, with eats from the Loco Lobster food truck.

As always, please send us your events and announcements. We’re happy to share them. And enjoy your Colorado craft libations responsibly.
