River North Enjoying its Return to RiNo

By Natasha Lovato

With a little more than a click of their ruby red slippers, River North Brewery finally made it back home to the River North Arts District. In 2015, RNB’s landlord sold his property, causing the brewery to find a home elsewhere.

Alongside the production facility and taproom at 6021 Washington St., in Denver, RNB opened new doors at their second location as they worked to make their way back to the old stomping grounds.

“Having two locations is huge for us,” said Katie Schroepfer, RNB marketing coordinator.

“Everyone's so excited to see us back here, and the people that didn't know we were here before are so interested in our variety of beers that we offer.”

Rather than a grand opening, RNB hosted a summer homecoming party. Now that the 3400 Blake St. location is getting comfortable in RiNo, guests are able to enjoy RNB beer alongside everything else the arts district has to offer. Open noon- 10 p.m. seven days a week, the RiNo location has a dog-friendly patio and numerous events for patrons to look forward to, such as comedy evenings, pottery nights and more.

You might recognize RNB from their award-winning brews seen all around Colorado including their White Ale, Farmhouse, Colorado IPA, Mountain Haze, Pilsner and newly added Fifteener, a west coast double IPA.

Maybe you’ve tried one of RNB’s imperial beers or barrel aged stouts. The RNB legacy will only deepen its roots with the seven-barrel brew system on Blake Street that will provide guests with more options.

Whether you find yourself in RiNo, or in search of a larger event space at the Washington location, RNB has their doors open and taps flowing for any and all thirsty patrons out there.
