Tap Fourteen Uptown Celebrates Grand Opening Saturday

Located just one mile from its original location, the grand opening of Tap Fourteen’s second bar, restaurant and beer garden will be Saturday, Feb. 24.

Tap Fourteen Uptown has 70 beers on tap with more than 100 different spirits to choose from and, like its original spot in the Ballpark Neighborhood, all beers and spirits are locally crafted in Colorado. The beer list at Uptown will be different from the one at the Ballpark location to total 140 different Colorado beers on tap between the two venues.

To complement Tap Fourteen’s local beverages, Chef Taylor Creedon has concocted a menu that he describes as American Alpine Fare. “The food culture at Tap Fourteen utilizes locally sourced provisions as well as beer, wine and spirits,” he said. “From curing and smoking, aging to charring, sweet to earthy and bitter to savory, American Alpine Fare is the principle within our kitchen that ties together the many cuisines and landscapes that have shaped Colorado.”

Positioned at the corner of 19th Avenue and Logan Street, Tap Fourteen Uptown features two different patios and modern decor throughout. The patio that runs along Logan Street faces the west, with two fire pits and a spectacular view of the Denver skyline. The patio that runs along 19th Avenue is more casual and boasts two fire pits.

The Grand Opening celebration starts at 10 a.m. Saturday and goes all day. They have several brewery and distillery giveaways scheduled throughout the day and the first 100 customers to order a pint get a free Tap Fourteen glass.
