Get Your Hands on Odell’s Brazzle, Avery’s ’13 Momi Hiwa and Others

Parry’s Pizza, which features New York-style pizza and a great taproom, is spreading the holiday cheer this season with the gift of cellared beer at their Santa’s Cellar Party Extravaganza event.

The Highlands Ranch location will host the party beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday, December 17.

More than 1,300 light-deprived bottles will be featured in the dining room. The bottles date back to 2013.

Cases of beers, including Brazzle by Odell, ’13 La Folie by New Belgium and ’13 Momi Hiwa by Avery, will be available in addition to other favorites like ’14 Skully Barrel, #13 by Paradox and ’16 Double Apricot Blonde by Dry Dock.

“We are hosting this event as a way to celebrate the holidays with our guests and thank them for 10 years of business, owner David Parry said. “Cellared beers really call for an occasion and so we thought, why not create the occasion by throwing a party timed nicely with the holidays?”

The collection of beers was kept in the dark in a temperature-controlled room to age over time. Some will be set up in an area of the dining room for participants to buy. More scarce bottles are going to be available for purchase via raffle. Each attendee will get 10 raffle tickets upon entry, with additional tickets available for $1 each. At noon, when the numbers are called, the winners get to purchase the selected bottle.

In addition to the return of some favorite brews, Parry’s will also serve its breakfast pizza, The Hepburn. It includes mozzarella, scrambled eggs, onions, green peppers and spicy sausage.

Parry’s has six metro-area locations, which average about 100 taps. The Highlands Ranch Parry’s is at 9567 S. University Blvd.
