Want to brew and pour like rock stars?

Factotum Brewhouse launched its Second Annual March Madness Brewing Competition, giving all brewing enthusiasts a chance to pour with the big boys.

The brewery reports that the winner of the competition “will be pouring their beer at the big dance, the Great American Beer Festival in 2017.”

Only 16 spots are open in this tournament, so Factotum suggests people act soon. The beer must be brewed at Factotum and winners will advance through each round in head-to-head competition. “The winner of each round will be determined by the public's blind tasting votes,” Factotum reports.

Competitors must brew their beer at Factotum by Jan. 31 and the beer must be ready to serve by March 1.

Last year, Aaron and Sharon Murphy won the competition.

Factotum is located at 3845 Lipan St. in the Sunnyside neighborhood. In addition to making their own beer, the brewhouse invites people to come in and brew using professional equipment.
Next year’s GABF will be October 5-7 at the Colorado Convention Center.
