Our friends at Cochon555 are hosting an epic culinary event this weekend at the Curtis Hotel full of creative food, artisanal wines, spirits, and 1,200 pounds of heritage breed pork. The event features five of Denver's best chefs cooking in a whole-hog competition dedicated to a global celebration of barbecue. Think of the most elaborate 40-course tasting menu taken standing up featuring flavors from Korea to Argentina served with endless premium libations. This year’s buzzworthy chefs include Bill Miner of il Porcellino Salumi; Darrel Truett of Barolo Grill; Hosea Rosenberg of Blackbelly Market; Burton Koelliker of Bonanno Concepts; and Will Nolan of Eight K at Viceroy Snowmass. In addition, there are two satellite competitions, the Somm Smackdown (wine / pig matching) and Punch Kings (barkeeps facing off in whole-bottle cocktail tilt with Breckenridge Bourbon).
Cochon555 has graciously provided two tickets for Thirst followers. This epic night out is not to be missed! Enter below to win.
