Brewery Love: Valentine's Day is just right for your next brewery trip

This year, breweries all over Colorado are celebrating Valentine’s Day in a variety of ways. From Canvas and Cocktails to oyster and beer pairings, many breweries are working to spread the love. The list below provides just a few, some with events for couples or for single individuals. Find an event in your area!

  • Declaration Brewing - Southwest Denver

  • Grimm Brothers Brewhouse - Loveland

    • Grimm Brothers is Teaming up with Curious Cupcakes for a special Valentine’s day pairing. There will be four cupcakes paired with four beers for $15. The event in on Valentine’s Day from 4-9 pm. Also they have available now, their Bleeding  Heart beer crafted specifically for this day.

  • Spice Trade Brewing - Arvada

    • On February 15 from 5-9 pm Spice Trade Brewing Company is throwing their rebranding party and featuring the release of their new Mayan Chocolate Russian Imperial Stout.

  • New Belgium - Fort Collins

    • Come in all day long on February 14 for their beer and chocolate pairings and later that night from 5:30-7:30 pm to hear live music from Stelth Ulvang of Dovekins & The Lumineers.

  • Alpine Dog Brewing - Cap Hill

    • Alpine will be having their second annual beer and oyster pairing for Valentine’s Day. In honor of stout month they will have a flight of oysters paired with four different stouts. Tickets will be sold at the door and not available in advance. Flights of four oysters will be $12 and beer flights are $10.

  • NoCo Short Bus Loveland brewery and spirits tour - Loveland

    • On February 11 & 12 NoCo Short Bus will be providing a special combination of a cocktail and distillery tour and a beer and chocolate pairing for Valentine’s Day. They will pick up and drop off in the middle of downtown and stop you by many spirits and brewery locations in the Loveland area. Tickets are $55 per person and time varies by the day.

  • Denver Beer Co - NW Denver

    • From February 11-12 Denver Beer Co is throwing its annual beer, bacon, and coffee fest from 8:30am-11 am. Tickets are $40 and will include a breakfast burrito from Tamales by La Casita, Coffee from Coda Coffee Company, and unlimited bacon. You will also receive a souvenir coffee mug to fill with all the original breakfast inspired brews by Denver Beer Co that you can drink in 2.5 hours.

      On February 14 Denver Beer Co will be holding a Valentine beer and chocolate pairing. For $30 you can get five chocolates paired with five 4 oz beers. This event is held at the taproom and will go from 11am-11pm.
  • Avery Brewery - Boulder

  • RiNo Love Triangle - Rino

    • On February 12 from 12-6pm six local breweries and eateries will join together for a three course meal. Each course is held at a different location so that you can eat, drink, and explore the RiNo neighborhood with your loved ones. Tickets are $100 per couple including gratuity and will feature a smoked duck breast as the main course. You can find tickets at rlt2017.eventbrite.com.

  • Crooked Stave Beer Artisan Project - RiNo

    • On Valentine’s Day Crooked Stave will release their limited edition Nightmare on Brett Raspberry (brewed in Leopold’s Whiskey barrels).

  • Lone Tree Brewing Co - Lone Tree

  • Strange Craft Beer Co. - Mile High Area

    • Strange will be releasing only 30 cases of their Belgian Chocolate Raspberry Love Chocolate Stout on February 13. Also, on February 14 from 6-8 pm they will be hosting a painting coasters and pint night where for $35 you could paint a set of four coasters and have a few beers. First beer is included with cost of admission.
