(DENVER; July 26, 2016) – On Saturday, August 20, 2016, ViewHouse Centennial hosts the second annual T-Mobile Fantasy Sports Combine, the nation’s premiere live fantasy football experience bringing together an extraordinary roster of fantasy sports experts, championship-winning coaches, professional athletes, and sports media personalities. The event will take place from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at ViewHouse, a chef-driven rooftop, eatery and bar.
Fantasy Sports Combine 2016 provides fantasy football fans with analysis and insight to increase their fantasy football knowledge and skills as well as ensure a more successful 2016/17 fantasy football season.
The 2016 talent line-up includes ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter; ESPN NFL analyst and 3x Super Bowl Champion/All Pro Mark Schlereth; nationally renowned fantasy experts Brad Evans of Yahoo! & 104.3 The Fan's Cecil Lammey; Daily Fantasy Expert Peter Jennings, who has amassed over $10 million in daily fantasy sports winnings; former Denver Broncos Super Bowl-winning Head Coach Mike Shanahan; former Super Bowl Champion players Brandon Stokley and Tyler Polumbus; and former Broncos Kyle Orton and Joel Dreesen. The emcee of Fantasy Sports Combine 2016 is longtime Colorado sports announcer and host, Les Shapiro.
Fantasy Sports Combine was founded by Bo Brownstein, a Colorado native and former member of the Northwestern Wildcats 1995 Big Ten Football Championship team, with a background in private equity and investment banking. According to the Fantasy Trade Association (FSTA), 60,000,000 Americans participated in the 2015 fantasy football season, and Brownstein was inspired to create the premier live event in the nation upon realizing there was nothing to educate and entertain the growing community of fantasy sports fans across the country. The inaugural Fantasy Sports Combine was held in July 2015 in Las Vegas, and hosted over 600 attendees.
“We felt that moving Fantasy Sports Combine (FSC) to Colorado was a natural fit, as it's the home of champions. The bottom line is that everybody wants to win their fantasy football league, and FSC was created to give fantasy football fans the education and experience of a lifetime,” says Brownstein. “We’re looking forward to hosting FSC at ViewHouse, since it is the premiere place in the state to watch sports and spend time with friends and family, which is precisely what fantasy football facilitates.”
Fantasy Sports Combine 2016 tickets are $99 plus fees for the “General Manager Experience,” which includes a ViewHouse buffet lunch created by Executive Chef Jose Guerrero and special gift from FSC, and $299 plus fees for the “Owners Experience,” which includes VIP reserved seating throughout the day, a reserved spot in the Fantasy Combine Games, the ViewHouse buffet lunch, and a FSC gift. Tickets are now available for purchase at www.fantasysportscombine.com. A portion of ticket sales proceeds will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver.
ViewHouse, which has another location adjacent to Coors Field in Downtown Denver, is considered to be one of Colorado’s premiere sports watching destinations. Each of the 20,000 square foot locations were designed to give guests an unparalleled game day viewing experience with dozens of indoor and outdoor flat screen TVs, an impressive drink selection with 40+ Colorado local beers, stunning scenic views, and a variety of outdoor games like volleyball and cornhole. ViewHouse Centennial also features the largest restaurant LED screen TV in Colorado, ensuring that all guests have the best seat in the house to watch their favorite game during their visit.
“ViewHouse celebrates all things Colorado, which for us has always included a love of sports, especially now with the Broncos’ recent Super Bowl 50 Championship win,” says ViewHouse founder Francois Safieddine. “We couldn’t be more excited to host this year’s Fantasy Sports Combine as it comes to Denver, and welcome an impressive group of sports industry professionals and fantasy football fans from across the state and country to our Centennial restaurant.”
Continuing the Fantasy Sports Combine festivities, ViewHouse also provides Colorado sports fans with the perfect 2016/17 fantasy football draft pick party destination. From now until Saturday, August 27, fantasy football groups can enjoy bottomless draft beer for two hours, one platter of 25 signature Jumbo Buffalo Wings, and ViewHouse’s free WiFi while choosing from the NFL’s top players for their rosters for $150 at either the Ballpark or Centennial location.
