The 12th Annual Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue 5K will be held at a Belmar Park in Lakewood. This is a laid-back family and dog friendly event and you can choose to run or walk the 5K route. All proceeds go directly to helping the dogs that RMLR rescues. Join us after the race to visit our sponsor booths and participate in a raffle for all racers. There are race prizes for the winners in 4 categories.
The Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue was founded in 2007 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We work to find new "forever" homes for Labrador Retrievers and Lab Mixes. Most of our labs come to Colorado from out of state shelters and rescues. All of our dogs live in foster homes where they receive lots of love and attention. We also provide vetting for all dogs that are in our care. Our goal for 2019 is to save 150 dogs!
