Swallow Hill gets boost from Brewfest
More than 50 breweries helped the Summer Brewfest at Mile High Station generate funds for Swallow Hill Music.
On top of the incredible variety of delicious craft beer, food and live music, thousands of people enjoyed the two-day event on West Colfax Avenue.
The venerable Swallow Hill Music is a nonprofit organization that brings people together through its school, concerts and community outreach programs. Both the Summer Brewfest and the Winter Brewfest are put on by RightOn Productions, which was started by a group of friends that worked a beer tent at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee. After working the beer tent, the friends developed a vision to put on a 2,000-person beer fest, and Denver turned out to be the perfect location. The Winter Brewfest will take place at Mile High Station on January 27-28.
