Thirst Colorado Team
Most of us can think of several good weekends spent in the state’s far reaches known as Mt. Crested Butte.
But the town, ski area, hiking and biking paradise has put together a brand new festival called One Good Weekend that runs from Sept. 9-11.
“We’re piggybacking on the already terrific Chili & Beer (festival), adding in great lift-served mountain biking at Evolution Bike Park, and a great weekend of music featuring Colorado headliners The Reminders and Rapidgrass Quintet,” according to event organizers. “We’ve got a lot going on at this event.”
With about 750 residents, the town is void of most national chains so you can enjoy something different for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Ticket prices vary but for $119, you will get “all the shows on all the days, free beer on Friday night and Saturday afternoon, Evolution Bike Park Tickets for Saturday and Sunday, an option to sign up for the local legends rides with Doug Bradbury or Dave Wiens (no fee, but space is limited), and two free beers on Sunday.”
