(DENVER; July 21, 2016) – On Wednesday, August 3, Thrive360 Eatery, a fast casual restaurant designed to offer food that tastes as good as it makes you feel, will open in Downtown Denver at 1001 17th Street (at Curtis).
Created by the team behind the healthy fast casual restaurant Protein Bar, Thrive360 Eatery reflects the company’s drive to stay at the forefront of the health food industry, offering innovative, delicious options for the increasing amount of consumers aiming to eat healthy, on the go. The first outpost of Thrive360 Eatery recently opened in Chicago in May 2016.
“Thrive360 Eatery allows us to broaden the reach of Protein Bar’s original and ongoing mission to improve the way people eat on the go,” says Protein Bar CEO, Samir Wagle. “We’ve found that our guests in Colorado fall within an ever-widening spectrum of fitness aspirations and dietary preferences, and our ability to personalize each menu item at Thrive360 lets us meet our guests where they are.”
Eats and Drinks
The culinary-driven menu at Thrive360 Eatery Denver features craveable and customizable dishes. Balanced bowls offer greens in dishes heartier than a salad because of protein-rich grains and flavorful ingredients. For an added layer of flavor, Thrive360’s menu features a selection of nine, house-made sauces including an aronia berry vinaigrette, Thai vinaigrette, and a salsa roja. A “make your plate” option encourages guests to pair a preferred protein (like the not-fried falafel or braised local Colorado beef) and sauce with two signature sides including savory sweet potato salad or no-calorie, clear noodles with miso and sriracha.
An innovative beverage menu features Kombucha on draft. Guests can even create Kombucha mocktails for a healthier happy hour, infusing Kombucha with seasonal flavored ice cubes like pineapple in the summer and honey cinnamon in the fall. In addition, the “bar” concept that inspired the original Protein Bar will live on at Thrive360 Eatery, where a Protein “Bar” will serve the same healthy, blended beverages Protein Bar fans know and love.
Thrive360 Eatery will serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Décor and Design
The décor at the new Denver storefront creates an urban oasis environment, helping guests get the most out of their lunch or afternoon break. Flowing, wood fixtures draw inspiration from nature with scenic images found to have a mentally restorative effect on the brain. The flow and various options for ordering from kiosk to concierge to pre-ordering online are designed to improve the quality of interaction between guests and staff.
Opening Festivities and Partnerships
Thrive360 Eatery will roll out the Denver opening in festive style, and invites locals to start thriving with exclusive giveaways and heart-healthy happenings. The fun kicks off once doors open for lunch at 10:30 a.m. on opening day (Wednesday, August 3), as the first 360 guests may purchase any entrée item for just $3.60. Thrive360 Eatery will also feature two custom “Blender Bikes” on the outdoor patio, which are bikes with attached blenders powered by pedal strokes, allowing riders to mix beverages as they pedal. On Wednesday and throughout the week, guests are encouraged to hop on a “Blender Bike” to blend smoothies and participate in blending competitions against other Thrive360 fans for the chance to win prizes.
Additionally, Thrive360 Eatery will partner with the American Heart Association in celebration of CycleNation™, a new AHA and American Stroke Association movement designed to empower Americans to use bikes to get brain and heart healthy, while raising funds for community programs and research. CycleNation™ will be coming to Denver on October 1-2, 2016, with teams of four riders participating in a relay-style fundraising cycle event taking place at three locations throughout the city.
In honor of of the American Heart Association, 100% of proceeds of all drinks blended on the bikes and $3.60 of each drink purchased at the restaurant during August 3-12, 2016 will go to AHA and CycleNation™.
On Thrive360 Eatery’s opening day (Wednesday, August 3), members of the AHA team, along with “CycleStars” from CycleBar®, a Premium Indoor Cycling™ boutique in the Denver Tech Center, will be onsite to pump up guests and encourage willing riders to compete in timed “Blender Bike” challenges against the “Cycle Stars”.
