How could you possibly go wrong with 100 taps of pure liquid gold? Whether you are a craft-beer-beginner who is searching for a light, less hoppy brew or a seasoned veteran looking to savor a new nitro stout or heavy porter, Parry’s Pizzeria and Bar in Longmont absolutely has you covered. The newest location celebrated its grand opening March 15. In addition to roughly 70 Colorado-based brews and 30 other craft beers from around the country, Parry’s also boasts authentic New York-style pizza and calzones.
Parry’s aims to provide great service, superb food and an overall welcoming environment, according to marketing director Keniey Sonley. He said providing “approachable gateway beers” will help guests with a smooth transition if they are used to drinking the big dogs, such as Coors, Miller or Bud.
Parry’s has teamed up with Lone Tree Brewing Co. in order to come up with a one-of-a-kind brew called Landon’s Wanna Walk, which is an American pale wheat ale. A portion of the proceeds from every glass served of Landon’s Wanna Walk is donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which has already topped $14,000, he said.
Before you stop in, be sure to visit the website and join the free Ale Yeah Club, which provides happy-hour pricing at any time of the day, Sunday through Wednesday. Membership also provides access to exclusive tasting and pairing events that are held at all six Front Range locations.
