Cellar-West Artisan Ales
At Cellar-West Artisan Ales they specialize in ales that have been fermented in oak barrels and are made with wild yeast. All beers they produce will be barreled and the wild yeast allows them to create a flavor that most brewers would shy away from because of its aggressive and potentially overpowering flavors. They produce two series of beers; oak fermented ales and steelie series. The oak fermented ales include Westfield Saison, God’s Eye Wild Porter With Blackberries, and Sapience Biere de Mars. Beers in the steelie series are New Life Wild Blonde Ale and Sammy Dry Hopped Black Ale. The brewery opened December 31,2016 and is family owned and funded by brewer, Zach Nichols. Located near many hiking trails, this would be the perfect place to stop by on your way home after a day on the mountain.
