On anniversary day, April 1st, the festivities continue with a weekend-long Local Makers Market starting at 11am and ending at 3pm both Saturday and Sunday. The beautiful courtyard known as the Backyard of Backyard on Blake will transform into a festive vendor fair with many of The Preservery’s most treasured local suppliers such as Broken Shovels Farm, Five Points Fermentation, Cultura Chocolate, Rowdy Mermaid Kombucha and The Real Dill. Brunch starts at 10am and runs through 1:30pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday (reservations are available on OpenTable). Expect plenty of specials and give-aways, like keepsake jars from The Real Dill free with any purchase of a Bloody Mary (made with their ridiculously tasty Bloody Mary mix, of course) and other fun surprises. Saturday night dinner starts at 5pm and DJ K-Nee of So What! The Club will be spinning on stage all evening. Next morning, all three DJs from So What! The Club will take turns performing during brunch while the makers market bustles outside for the second day. Brunch wraps up at 2 and the party keeps going until three.
