The second annual Frisco Brewski, hosted by the Town of Frisco, takes place Saturday, March 11 from 2-5 p.m. The event, open to skiers of all abilities, is a happy hour, non-competitive ski tour where participants don their best costumes, stop for sips and snacks, and ski towards the finish line – complete with libations and prizes.
Held at the Frisco Adventure Park and Frisco Nordic Center, skiing takes place from 2-4 p.m., starting at the Frisco Nordic Center and heading onto the groomed and scenic terrain available at the Nordic Center. The after party will be held from 4-5 p.m., where awards will be given out for "best costume," "toughest costume to ski in" and more. Featured brews will be the latest from Outer Range Brewing Co., Dillon Dam Brewery and Breckenridge Brewery.
Participants must register in groups of two to four people. Advance registration is $30 for adults; $20 for youth 20 and under, atFriscoBrewSki.com or by calling (970) 668-2558. Day-of registration is $35 for adults; $25 for youth 20 and under, available at the Frisco Nordic Center starting at 1 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will go to Friends of the Dillon Ranger District who will be helping to judge the costume contest.
